First 5 San Mateo County is focused on promoting a trauma-informed system for serving children and families. The Trauma- and Resiliency-Informed Systems Initiative (TRISI) integrates training, resources, and support for professionals and organizations across multiple sectors who work with families.
Over the past year, we’ve launched an online resource hub, conducted a survey of local stakeholders to gauge readiness for trauma-informed training, and hosted a full-day Culture of Care Convening. We are excited to announce the next step in the initiative, and invite you to be a part of it.
